It's hard to believe that this project started over a year and a half ago. Monica suggested we publish a book together, since our writing styles and subject matter complement each other quite well. We agreed, and the seed was planted. However, life is a messy place... especially for two wacky artistic chicks who juggle full time jobs, freelance work, and endless creative endeavors. A few times I thought the idea might remain at the stage Pink Floyd mentioned - "a half page of scribbled lines".

But here we are with deadlines and launch parties already planned! It is going to become a reality! I'm beside myself with excitement.

The part in progress at the moment is a little less exciting... editing and layout and print quotes and a zillion details. But in a few weeks we shall each have a rough printout of the entire book in our hands. I think that is when it will really smack us all over again - we are creating a whole book, all by ourselves. No matter how it turns out - wow. I'm proud of us for taking this chance and doing everything our own way.

Please click that "contact" button above and email us to sign up for the mailing list. We'll send you an occasional update about how things are going, and in a few months, how to order a copy of Some Words Spoken. You'll be supporting a dream that started late one night, likely in a bar. Aren't those the very best places to start crazy plans? Heh heh.

Cyn and I decided somewhere around the onset of this project (the writing and release of our first book) that it would be cool as kittens to blog the whole thing publically. Now setting up the blog of course has taken much longer than either of us ever expected, if you are wondering why, try living my life for a week - disorganized chaos would be an understatement of mass proportions. But yeah, here is is... a little late... a little untested. My feet are getting wet and I am sure that the very divine Miss Cynthia's are about to follow shortly.

So that said - Welcome, read and enjoy... this is our story.
